The Hesitant Singers' Blog - An Introduction

Welcome to the Hesitant Singers’ Blog!

My name is Mike Brose, and I am a hesitant singer, just like you. This blog is for people like us - singers that want to share our art with the world, but we are HESITANT.

We want to have the courage, confidence, and audacity to stand in front of the audience. But people like us may yield to the more bold person, may stand back and wait, may not volunteer, and may not even declare ourselves as singers at all.

This blog is for you - the hesitant singer.

This is where we will explore why. After all, you ARE a good singer … you called yourself a singer in your mind or you wouldn’t have shown up here. So why hold back?

Here we will share stories - the good, bad, and ugly - to shed light on how beautiful our voices are.

Share your stories in the comments.

What do you want to know? What tips can I share with you to overcome your negative voice and the resistance that exists in all singers?

My name is Mike Brose, and I am the accompanist of the Hesitant Singer. If you are in Chicagoland, I want to help you find the confidence, courage, and audacity to sing for the world. Email me at mikebrosemusic@gmail.com to learn more.
